Academic Pentathlon (8th)

Pentathlon is an academic team, consisting of 9 students. The district chooses a theme, and we get a novel and study guides that consist of history, math, science, art, and literature for students to read, study, and learn information for a district and regional competition. Pentathlon is the middle school version of the Lone Star Challenge (elementary) and Decathlon (high school).

Meeting: The days and times are determined each year by the team.

Location: room 318

Season: October - March

Saturday events: yes

How to join: 9 students can join. The selection process is based on their averages from 7th grade.

Commitment: Mandatory attendance
