We are the WB Travis Vanguard Elementary Debate Team! We will practice our debate skills in preparation of DISD Elementary Debate scrimmages and tournaments. We will research given topics and make logical arguments for and against. Enhanced critical thinking, teamwork, empathy, and public speaking are some of the skills we will sharpen.

Meeting: Weekly meetings on Thursday from 4 - 4:45 beginning on 10/5 through 4/18 with the exception of 12/21

Location: Room 101 (4th grade Science Room)

Season: October - April

Saturday events: yes

How to join: There is a limited number of spots that have already been filled based on an interest form

Commitment: Mandatory Attendance for at least 75% of practices and 100% of Saturday Scrimmage/Tournaments
